Leaf Morphology is the study of the external feature of leaves. It is useful for classification. Gymnosperm (non-flowering plant) has needle-shaped leaves while angiosperm (flowering plant) has broad leaves. The leaves of monocots have parallel venation but network venation is the rule for dicots.
